Welcome to Generous Heart Meditation Center

Generous Heart offers meditators an opportunity to sit and practice and develop good foundational habits that will benefit you in your meditation practice no matter what your current level of realization. We follow the complementary Buddhist Bon and Elephant Path traditions, also known as the Nine Stages of Staying, wherein we learn to balance focusing on our breathing, posture, and thoughts leading to deepening concentration and a calm mind. Response to our opening has been kind and generous and all ongoing classes are full at this point. OnLine Meditation Group is held both on Wednesday evenings from 8:30PM - 9:00PM and, Sunday evenings, from 8:00- 8:30PM (EST).


In-person Classes (subsequent to Covid quarantine) are held on alternating Sunday mornings from 9am-1pm. Cushions and zafus (as well as chairs) are provided. Sittings are approximately 20 minutes in length with discussion and break time in-between sittings. Complimentary refreshments served. In Person meditation groups will restart as soon as federal and state health agencies advise it is completely safe to lift the quarantine.
